Justin's “Live Long and Prosper” tie tack served double duty: besides the Star Trek reference, the gesture depicted in his tie tack is symbolic of a ceremonial Jewish blessing, upon which the Vulcan greeting was based. Like the rest of Justin's wedding attire, these items will all get more use beyond the wedding day.
